The mascot for the outing started as a collegiate joke. The photograph is actually from the Dayton Art Institute. The significance of the statue is the positions of the hands which were derived from late night chest butting. Although the picture has a nickname that shall go unnamed here, it has more importantly grown to larger proportions. It has become a symbol of friendship to many. Although crude looking at first glance, the hope is that all of our friendships survive as long as the stone that this statue is made of. Thanks for keeping Mike's memory alive.
